Community has always been one of my core values. Throughout the seasons in life, I sought opportunities to bring people together. I formed the first community when I was 16. In High School, I was not the only first generation American with working class parents who often had to choose between basic necessities and extracurricular activities. As teenagers, we needed belonging and a support system, so I created a Latin dance group called Alma Latina (Latin Soul). That is when I discovered my passion of cultivating communities with purpose. Becoming an entrepreneur after being in Corporate for 20 years and moving across the pond to the UK, I knew community and belonging would help our family transition and thrive. In order for a community to thrive, we must create systems and environments that promote and foster well-being, authentic connections, and space for growth & learning. This led to forming The Infinite Runway, a community with purpose that is focused on spreading joy, offer a space of belonging, and enable growth & learning.
